Exchanges - Terms and conditions

We understand that sizing can be tricky! If something doesn’t fit quite right, we’re happy to offer exchanges within India (subject to availability).

  1. Exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  2. If the requested size / style is unavailable, we will issue store credit valid for 6 months.
  3. Customers are responsible for a return shipping fee, which will be deducted from the store credit if issued.
  4. Shipping costs, taxes and / or duties are non-refundable.
  5. Items must be Unworn, unused, and unwashed. It must be free from any stains, scents (perfume, deodorant, etc.), or damage.
  6. Items must be returned with all original tags and packaging intact.
  7. As we work with small batches, exchanges must be selected from currently available styles on our website.

From Out East reserves the right to deny an exchange if items have been worn, soiled, laundered or altered in any way.

How to process an exchange request?

  1. Initiate a Request: Reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order for us to process an exchange on care.fromouteast@gmail.com
  2. Approval & Pickup: Once we receive the item, it will go through a quality check. If approved, we’ll process your exchange or issue store credit within 2-3 business days.
  3. Inspection & Exchange Processing: Once we receive the item, it will go through a quality check. If approved, we’ll process your exchange or issue store credit within 2-3 business days. Please keep in mind that we may refuse or delay returns if fraud or abuse is suspected. 

 

Sale and discounted items

  1. All sale items are final sale and cannot be exchanged.
  2. Items purchased during final sales, archive sales, or with promotional discounts are not eligible for exchange.

Returns

We believe in conscious consumption and take pride in creating pieces that are crafted with intention. Unlike mass-produced fashion, our pieces are crafted in small batches, ensuring exclusivity and reducing waste. To uphold these values and maintain ethical production, we do not offer returns, except in cases where the product received is damaged or incorrect. Instead, we provide exchanges and store credit to help you make the right choice.

  1. If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please inform us within 48 hours at care.fromouteast@gmail.com with your order number and clear images of the issue.
  2. If approved, we will offer a replacement or store credit.
  3. Refunds are only issued if a replacement is unavailable and will be processed within 10 working days of receiving the item.

Store credit

  1. Store credit is valid for 6 months.
  2. Items purchased with store credit cannot be further exchanged or returned.
  3. Store credit apply to online purchases only and cannot be extended or converted into a refund.
